32^nd round in the Japanika League: After two consecutive wins, Maccabi wished to continue the positive momentum tonight knowing that a victory will bring them closer to achieve the goal of finishing in the second place and secure the ticket to Europe. Marco Balbul made one change in his starting eleven who won in Beer Sheva, when Rami Gershon replaced the suspended Etienne Reijnen. 
On the other hand, Bnei Yehuda arrived at this match after a loss against Maccabi Tel Aviv and without Dan Mori who was sent off last week. Yarden Shua was honored with a tribute from his former club, in which he played until January.
