18th round of the 2019/20 “TA Stock Exchange” League: Maccabi Netanya hosted Maccabi Haifa. Maccabi arrived at the match from the second place at the league with 37 points and after the 3:4 lost on the last fixture. On the other hand, Slobodan Drapic side was located in the 6th place prior to the match with 22 points and after a 1:2 win at the last fixture against Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Kick off
20’ Chery chips the ball into the box towards Ashkenazi, Netanya’s defense clears the ball straight to Wildschut, but his cross is cleared for a corner.
21’ Wildschut breaks down the left wing and delivers a clever pass to Ashkenazi, but his shot is blocked at last moment.
22’ Ashkenazi sends the ball to Haziza who leaves Chery alone in front of the the keeper, but Amos blocks the attempt.
29’ Wildschut gets the ball from Mabouka on the left flank and delivers an incisive pass towards Chery who provides a dangerous cross but the ball goes outside.
38’ Wildschut advances with the ball and cuts from the left flank to the center of the field and shoots from 25 meters. The ball goes flying above the frame.

Second half
52’ Chery passes the ball to Wildschut on the left flank, the Dutchman storms down the line and delivers a cross towards Ashkenazi who shoots, but the ball is deflected behind the line for a corner kick.
56’ Wildschut storms from the left flank to the center of the pitch and passes the ball to Rukavytsya who shoots from the middle of the box and he hits the net! 0:1 for Maccabi!
60’ Lavi runs through three defenders in the center of the pitch and passes the ball to Wildschut who once again storms down the left wing, but his cross goes out of play.
65’ Chery passes the ball to Lavi who sends the ball forwards to Rukavytsya, the Australian leaves the ball to Ashkenazi who advances and scores with his left foot! What great football played by Maccabi! 0:2 for Maccabi!!

82’ Chery passes the ball to Sun Menachem with a lovely back hill, the latter crosses the ball from the left flank but the local defense clears it.
