“I’m sure we will be better”

Assistant Manager, Rob Maas, spoke in the post-match interview after the losing to Hapoel Acre. “In the time that I have been here, I have seen a positive attitude from the players”.

Rob Maas, Assistant Manager, spoke in the post-match interview after the 1:0 loss to Hapoel Acre. Azubel (’31) scored the winner for the visitors.

First, he spoke about the match, saying: “I am not satisfied with our first half, we were not on the pitch, and we lost too many balls. I saw to the player during the break that we needed to play much better, and in the second half we were better and created better opportunities. At the end, we are disappointed with the result".

Afterwards, he added: “I know that we can be better and I believe that things can get better with the help of the club and players, but it will take time. I expected that they would come and play defensively, but we didn’t start well and allowed a goal".

Later, Maas spoke about the supporters: “I am sorry for them. We wanted to win the match and get a win in Dekel Keinan’s last match with the team. I am disappointed just like the supporters because I hate to lose. We have good players. I am disappointed in our first half because we could have played better. In the time that I have been here, I have seen a positive attitude from the players".

To finish, Maas said:” I don’t wan to talk about the past because I wasn’t here. For a complete and fast change, we need to change the entire attitude and way of thinking, and that’s what we are trying to do. Success is accompanied by ups and downs, I am sorry that we are not in a good place right now, but I am convinced we will come out of this and be much better".
