Maccabi registered a 1:2 loss tonight against Beitar Jerusalem. In the first half Maccabi played excellent football. During the first half Allyson Dos Santos pulled a muscle and was replaced by Reijnen.
37 minutes into the match Shon Weissman gave Maccabi a well-deserved lead after a magnificent assistance by Azulay. The second Half was completely different. Maor Buzaglo equalized the score at the at the 60' minute with a free kick from 20 meters. Just five minutes later Or Inebrum set the final score, 1:2. Maccabi applied pressure on Beitar's goal until the end of the match, yet failed to level back the score. Maccabi remains in the ninth place at the league table with 9 points. On Saturday Maccabi will travel to Netanya for an away match against Hapoel Hadera.
