Eli Guttman's debut ended tonight with a victory. Maccabi went on an away match against the most surprising team so far in this season and managed to register an important win. The first half was completely controlled by Maccabi who led 0:2 at the half time. Soumah appeared for the first time in the opening-elven, and just 4 minutes into the match he provided a magnificent assistance to Awad. Maccabi kept pressuring Hadera's goal with several opportunities by Rukavytsya who finely scored five minutes before half time after a brilliant assistance by Awad. The second half was a different story. Hadera was able to narrow the score at 81' after a penalty taken by Lucio, but Maccabi kept the lead until the end and went into the international brake with a win away from home.
