Ashdod - Maccabi 0:1

 15^th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi started the match at the Yud-Alef Stadium with some great chances following a lovely first minutes in which the team was in complete control of the match. Six minutes into the match a goal by Rukavytsya was canceled due to an offside call by the linesman. Eight minutes later, no one could stop the striker who scored after completing a magnificent double pass with Weissman. At the 30’ minute, Guy Haimov managed to stop a penalty shot by Dan Bitton. In the second half Maccabi kept attacking Ashdod's goal time after time but could not double the advantage after a great performance by Omer Eguzi, Ashdod’s substitute goalkeeper. In the end, Maccabi gets the important win. Maccabi will host Bnei Yehuda on Saturday.

7’ Shon Weismann steals the ball in the middle of the pitch and passes it to Sallallich, but the local defense blocked Sallallic. 
8’ A goal by Rukavytsya with his head was canceled due to an offside call by the linesman. A questionable decision.
14’ A magnificent double pass between Rukavytsya and Weismann left Rukavytsya alone against Mashpati. The striker remained cool and scored from 10 meters, 0:1 for Maccabi.
25’ Mandjeck is fouled outside the box. Sallallich sends the free kick above the crossbar.
30’ Ashdod is awarded with a penalty kick. Guy Haimov denies Dan Bitton shots and keeps Maccabi’s lead.

Second Half

47’ Rukavytsya provides a lovely long pass towards Weismann who shoots the ball from the air but he misses the target.
54’ A nice attack by Maccabi ends after Weismann shoots from inside the penalty area high above the goal.
57’ Meir leaves the ball to Weismann who forces the goalkeeper to pull a great save.
63’ Both Weismann and Sallallich have their attempts on a goal but the ball just won’t go in.
64’ Substitution for Maccabi: Shlomi Azulay in, Shon Weismann out.
65’ A great cross by Sallallich, after a lovely individual play on the left wing, reaches Shlomi Azulay that in his first touch of the ball misses the target from seven meters.
