The last 16 round of the Israeli State Cup 2019/20 encountered, for the first time ever, between Hapoel Umm al-Fahm and Maccabi Haifa at Afula Stadium. Maccabi arrived at the match three days after the 0:2 victory against Netanya in the league. On the previous round Maccabi won 3:1 against Ness Ziona. On the other hand, the hosts arrived at the match after making history in the previous round when they eliminated M. Tel Aviv with a 3:2 win.

11’ Lavi steals the ball in the center of the pitch, passes it to Awad who advances and shoots strongly from 22 meters. The ball goes flying next to the right post. 
 
17’ Mabouka receives the ball from Awad on the right flank and crosses it back to Awad who shoots from the edge of the box. The shot is blocked for a corner kick. 
 
18’ Haziza takes the corner, the ball reaches Awad who shoots with his left foot, but this time he misses the target. 
 
23’ Awad crosses the ball from the right side towards Rukavytsya who heads the ball but Litvinov denies it. 
 
27’ Haziza steals the ball on the left side of the pitch, runs down the line and passes the ball to Ashkenazi who shoots from 20 meters a flat ball that goes out of play. 
 
34’ A double pass between Awad and Mabouka ends with a cross from the latter. Rukavytsya tries to score with a single touch, but his attempt is blocked by the goalkeeper. 
 
42’ Mabouka crosses the ball from the right flank; Haziza jumps high and heads the ball that bounces from the grass straight to the keeper's hands 
 
44’ Plakuschenko shoots powerfully with his left foot from 25 meters, the keeper collects the ball.

47’ A double pass between Haziza and Ashkenazi puts the latter in a good position, but his shot hits the wrong side of the net.

57’ Plakuschenko crosses the ball from the left flank, the ball reaches Shua who heads the ball and scores! 0:1 for Maccabi!
 
62’ A great counter attack by Maccabi! Ashkenazi finds Haziza on the left flank and crosses the ball into the box, but Awad’s shot hits the crossbar.
