19th round of the 2019/20 “TA Stock Exchange” League: Maccabi Haifa hosted Sektzia Ness Ziona. Maccabi arrived at their third match in the last week after winning 0:2 against Netanya on the last league fixture, and four days after the 0:1 victory against Umm al-Fahm that awarded Maccabi a place in the State Cup quarterfinals. Prior to the match Marco Balbul’s players were located in the second place of the league with 40 points. On the other hand, the guests were located in the 13th place prior to the match with 15 points and after a 1:0 lost at their last fixture against Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Kick off
3’ Lavi sends Mabouka on the right flank, the Cameroonian crosses a good ball, but Ness Ziona’s defense clears it.
4’ Mabouka delivers a cross from the right side, Lavi gets control of the ball and shoots strongly from 20’ meters, the ball misses the target.
12’ After a nice team move by Maccabi, Chery passes the ball from his left foot to his right foot and shoots - Glazer just hardly gets to it and deflects the ball for a corner kick.
22’ Sallallich delivers a great pass to Chery that shoots and hits the wrong side of the net from a close range.
33’ Wildschut leaves the ball to Menachem on the left side, the left back delivers a sharp cross, but Glazer denies it.
38’ Chery crosses a great corner kick; Arad jumps high and heads the ball straight to the crossbar.
44’ Ashkenazi sends Sallallich down the right flank, the latter delivers a cross that is cleared for a corner just a moment before Rukavytsya gets to ball.
45’ A nice team play by Maccabi ends with a shot from Menachem, the ball hits one of the defenders and goes out for another corner.

Second half
46’ Ashkenazi passes the ball to Sallallich in the right flank, he passes it to Chery in the middle who leaves it to Ashkenazi who shoots strongly but the defense blocks the attempt.
50’ Chery receives the ball inside the box and shoots, Glazer deflects it for a corner.
52’ Arad gets to a high ball inside the box and he heads it towards Sainsbury who heads the ball into the net! 1:0 for Maccabi!
56’ Substitution for Maccabi: Muhammad Awad in, Yanic Wildschut out.
60’ Maccabi moves the ball around until Menachem passes the ball to Sallallich who shoots with his right foot, but the ball goes flying above the target.
68’ Sainsbury sends a long ball to Mabouka who crosses the ball from the right flank; the ball is cleared for a corner.

83’ Shua gets the ball outside the box and shoots powerfully with his right foot, Glazer deflects it for a corner.
84’ Haziza storms down the left wing and crosses the ball into the box, Chery goes for a header, Glazer collects it.
90’ Awad crosses the ball towards Haziza who leaves it with a single touch to Arad who scores! A great 4:0 lead for Maccabi!
