26th round of the 2019/20 “TA Stock Exchange” League: Maccabi Haifa hosted Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the last match of the regular season, before the playoffs. Due to Maccabi's radius punishment, the game was held at Netanya Stadium.
Marco Balbul’s players arrived at the match after winning 1:2 against Ashdod on the last league fixture. Prior to the match Maccabi was located on the second place at the league with 55 points. On the other hand, Hapoel Be’er Sheva was located on the 4th place prior to the match with 44 points and after a 3:1 win at their last fixture against Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Kick off
4’ Sallallich receives the ball from Lavi on the right flank and crosses it into the box, but Levita gets to the ball before Rukavytsya.
14’ A corner by Chery is cleared straight to Ashkenazi who shoots from outside the box, the ball goes wide.
15’ Ashkenazi tries again from outside the box, Levita deflects the ball straight to Rukavytsya who kicks the ball and scores! 1:0 for Maccabi!
18’ What a magnificent counterattack by Maccabi! Sallallich passes the ball to Chery who storms through the middle, passes by a defender, shoots sharply and scores! 2:0 for Maccabi!
27’ Wildschut receives the ball on the left wing, passes his defender, cuts to the middle and shoots strongly, but the visitors defenders block the attempt.
31’ Chary crosses the ball into the box after a short corner. Menachem jumps high and heads the ball to the bottom corner, but the ball goes only next to the post.

Second half
51’ Chery passes the ball to Wildschut on the left flank who breaks into the box. The latter crosses the ball, but the guests clears it for another corner.
57’ A great attack by Maccabi ends when Rukavytsya finds Wildschut in the left side of the penalty area, the dutch fires a perfect shot and scores! 3:0 for Maccabi!
