Roni Levy's players arrived to the home game against Hapoel Acre knowing that no outcome is acceptable other than victory. The coach included Glynor Plet in the lineup for the first time this season, alongside Nikola Drin?i?, Eliran Atar and Dekel Keinan, who returned to the team's first lineup.
The greens opened the game with pressure on Danny Amos's goal post, in their attempt to win the game already in its early stages, and 20minutes into the game, they had their reward. A long goalkeeper ball by Vladimir Stojkovi? found Eliran Atar, who dribbled across Acre defense and with no hesitations scored his first goal this season, and Maccabi Haifa's first goal in "Sammi Ofer" stadium.
