After three weeks since their last league match, Maccabi Haifa took on Maccabi Netanya during Matchday 11 of the Israeli Premier League in Netanya. Guy Luzon’s side entered this match with fourteen points and looking to take three points to move up the table.
 
 The match began with the Greens grabbing the first dangerous opportunity of the night. In the 4^th minute, Haifa took a free kick from the left flank that found the foot of Sallallich, but his shot was deflected straight to the Netanya goalkeeper, Amos. In the 11^th minute, Olsak took down Vermouth at the top of the box, and referee made no hesitation in giving out the first yellow of the match. In the 32^nd minute, Raz Meir had a counter attack from midfield, but the shot was not strong enough to trouble Amos. In the 36^th minute, Vermouth floated a ball into Sallallich, who found himself in front of the goal, but Amos was able to stop the Greens midfielder.  In the 46^th minute, just before the end of the half, Rami Gershon was called for a handball in the Haifa box, resulting in a penalty kick for the home side. Eran Levy scored from the spot to put Netanya up 1:0 at the half.
 
The first change of the match for Guy Luzon was in the 59^th minute when Maor Buzalgo entered the pitch for his first match in green, coming on for Gili Vermouth. In the 65^th minute, Raz Meir and Buzalgo had beautiful 1-2 pass which allowed them to send the ball in to Demari, but Amos was able to make the save. One minute later, Sallallich pounced on a vital mistake from the defense, hitting a strong shot and finding the equalizer to make the match 1:1. In the 70^th minute, Rukvytsya took a deep ball from Demari, but he hit a weak shot to Amos. In the 79^th minute, Klaus came on the pitch in place of Demari and then Guy Luzon made his last change in the 82^nd minute when he brought on Dekel Keinan for Dos Santos, who picked up an injury. The match ended in 1:1 tie as the Greens came back to steal a point in Netanya.
