The first chance of the match came after ten minutes, when Buzaglo crossed a ball to Awad and he turned to have a shot, but it was just over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Awad had the ball at the top of the box, but his shot could not find the target. In the 37th minute, Bnei Yehuda won a free kick. The free kick was sent in and headed past Omri Glazer by Dan Mori, putting the visitors up 1:0. In the 38th minute, Rukavytsya did his best to equalize with a strong effort from inside the box, but his shot was put wide by the Bnei Yehuda goalkeeper, Zubas. Although the Greens began the half strong, they entered the break down a goal.
The second half began with an early goal from the visitors as Yonatan Cohen scored off of a well-crossed corner in the 51st minute. In the 61st minute, Gili Vermouth replaced Rukvytsya. In the 66th minute, Sallallich sent a ball to Awad waiting in the box. Unfortunately, Awad’s shot was straight at Zubas. In the 78th minute, Maccabi Haifa made a double switch with Caio and Demari replacing Awad and Alberman. The Greens change signaled the manager’s desire to try and rescue points from the match.
