Maccabi registered a 0:2 loss tonight in the seventh round of Japanika League. The first half was goalless and in the beginning of the second half Maccabi's Centre back, Etienne Reijnen, was sent off after a controversial decision by the referee. After 77 minutes Dudi Tiram put Netanya in front. At the 89' minute a red card was shown to Sun Menachem. 4 minutes into the stoppage time Moty Barshazky scored to set the final score.
A ceremony in honor of four fans who passed away lately was held at the stadium prior to the match.

Zion Ben Amy (1953 - 2017) – Was a loyal fan who followed the team in home and away matches, in Israel and abroad.
Ze'ev Peterman (1959 – 2018) A loyal and dedicated fan, who supported the team for 50 years, in Israel and abroad.
Nir Margalit (1980 – 2018) A dedicated fan, noble and generous man.
Oranit Menachem (1993 – 2018) She lived her life through giving and seeing others. She loved the sea and to travel around the world, but most of all she loved Maccabi Haifa and her nephews - to whom she imparted in the love for the team.
