17th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi won this evening (Saturday) an important away match against Elisha Levy’s team. The first half was goalless, but the team players stormed out of the dressing room into the pitch and scored two goals in the first ten minutes of the second half. Sallallich needed just two minutes in the second half to score to the net of Ginzburg. Six minutes later Maccabi doubled their lead after a magnificent free kick taken by Rukavytsya. For the first time since May 2016 Maccabi wins three consecutive matches in the league. Marco Balbul maintains his perfect record since his arrival to the club.
Kick Off
13’ Neta Lavi delivers a lovely deep pass to Sallallich on the right wing. Sallallich passes the ball to Weismann who joined the attack from behind. Weismann shoots from 15 meters but Ginzburg saved it.
15’ Rukavytsya shoots the ball directly to Ginzburg’s hands after a nice individual move.
31’ Mabouka storms down the right wing and provides a great cross which reaches Shon Weismann, but his shot goes above the crossbar.

42’ Mandjeck tries to shoot from inside the penalty area, the ball arrives to Rukavytsya but he failed to control the ball and from 5 meters he provides a week shot.
43’ Mandjeck shoots from 12 meters after a nice personal move, Ginzburg denies the ball, Sallallich is first to the rebound but his chance is blocked by Petah Tikva’s defense.

47’ Sallallich completes a brilliant double pass with Shon Weismann and shoots a flat ball from 10 meters to put Maccabi in front, 0:1.
52’ Rukavytsya is fouled at the edge of the penalty area. He takes the free kick and shoots the ball straight to the top corner. A lovely goal that doubled Maccabi’s lead, 0:2.
