25th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi hosted Bnei Sakhnin this evening (Saturday). Following the goalless draw at the derby on Monday, the manager, Marco Balbul, made some changes in his starting eleven. Haimov, Mabouka, Mandjeck and Shua were in the lineup. Around 16,000 fans arrived to Sammy Ofer today. Mandjeck’s and Rukavytsya’s goals decided the match. Rukavytsya missed a penalty in the 43’ minute. Next week: an away match against Kiryat Shmoma in the last match of the regular season, before the playoffs.
