Round of the last 32 in the National Cup: Maccabi went on an away match at Doha Stadium against Bnei Sakhnin. Yarden Shua made his debut for Maccabi while Lavi (suspension) and Gershon (injury) were missing. Maccabi played well at the beginning of the match, but Sakhnin were first to go on the scoreboard after 31 minutes. In the second half Maccabi continued to attack and reached quite a few opportunities but could not equalized the score and missed the ticket to the quarterfinals.
