27th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi hosted Bnei Yehuda this evening.
Maccabi arrived at the match after an away win against Kiryat Shmoma last week, but today the team registered a 0:2 home loss to Bnei Yehuda. It was Marco Balbul’s first loss after 12 league matches.
A controversial decision, that was taken after using the VAR, led the referee to send off Mabouka and to award a penalty kick to Bnei Yehuda. After the international break Maccabi will play against Maccabi Tel Aviv in Netanya.
