Maccabi Tel Aviv - Maccabi 1:0
Maccabi registered a 1:0 loss against Maccabi Tel Aviv. Schoenfeld scored the winning goal for the hostess at the 55’ minute. Around 1,100 green fans supported the team from the stands. In their next fixture Maccabi will host Hapoel Ra’anana.
28th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi was hosted by Maccabi Tel Aviv at the Netanya Stadium. The team wished to return to their winning streak after losing the previous fixture to Bnei Yehuda at the opening match of the upper playoffs. The Cameroonian right back, Ernest Mabouka, was absent due to his sent-off against Bnei Yehuda. Mandjeck, who returned from a suspension due to aggregated yellow cards, started in the lineup as well as Maxim Plakuschenko and Rami Gershon. On the other hand, Maccabi Tel Aviv came to the match knowing that a draw will be enough for them to secure the championship. About 1,100 green fans came to support the team.
