Maccabi - Netanya 2:1
Maccabi registered a win at home against Maccabi Netanya. Beqiraj put the visitors in front in the first half, but goals by Shua and Mandjeck completed a comeback and awarded the team an important win after three consecutive losses.
30th round in the Japanika League: After a disappointing opening of the upper playoffs, Maccabi wanted to return to the winning streak against Maccabi Netanya tonight (Sunday). The team came to the match after three consecutive losses, on the other side Drapi? and Barda's team arrived to Sammy Ofer after last week's loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Both teams started the match with the same amount of points (44). The team's manager, Marco Balbul, made several changes to the lineup. Omri Glazer opened between the posts for the first time this season. Mandjeck and Habashi returned to the opening eleven.

10’ Maccabi levels the score quickly. Yarden Shoua gets the ball from Raz Meir and from inside the box shoots and defeats Danny Amos. It is Shua’s first goal wearing green.
27’ Shua delivers a great pass to Rukavytsya who shoots, but the ball goes wide.
30’ What a brilliant attack by Maccabi. Rukavytsya passes the ball with his back heel to Shua that also uses his back heel to find Mabouka. The Right Back gets lost of his defender on the right wing and crosses the ball towards Mandjeck. The latter scores a header and sets the score, 2: 1 for Maccabi.
32’ A great opportunity for Maccabi to score the third goal. Yarden Shua delivers an incisive pass to Frei who passes Amos by, he shoots from a difficult angle and the ball hits the wrong side of the net.
45’ Shua crosses the ball, Frei’s header misses the target.
