35th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi hosted Maccabi Tel Aviv this evening (Sunday) for the last home fixture of the season. 16,300 fans arrived at the stadium today. Yonatan Cohen put the away team in front in 29’ minutes. Habashi was injured in the first half. Guy Haimov was also injured and was replaced by Glazer in the beginning of the second half. It was Glazer's first appearance this season. Just before the final whistle Mandjeck leveled the score with a lovely header. Next week: a decisive match against Netanya for the ticket to Europe.
