36^th round in the Japanika League: Maccabi was hosted this evening (Saturday) by Maccabi Netanya. The players went on the pitch knowing that their hopes to qualify to Europe depend on their own performance. A 1:0 loss could also have been enough in the unlikely scenario that Beer Sheva would lose their last match by 4 goals. Glazer started at the goal instead of injured Haimov while Shua and Weismann played as strikers. Maccabi Netanya arrived at this match after two consecutive losses to Bnei Yehuda (in the cup final and league) and wanted to get the final ticket for Europe after 10 years. Olsak, Finish and Baqiraj weren't available for Drapic and Barda tonight.
